We’ll go to the ends of the earth for you.
International travel, while fascinating, can also be a little intimidating, especially with a baby or small child. Let our experience make it easier for you. We have shipped items for babies all over the world, and know the rules about what is and is not allowed in certain countries, as well as weight restrictions and costs for shipping and how much time is needed to guarantee your packages are waiting for you and your baby when you reach your destination.
We are working to form relationships with other baby supply companies located in popular destinations where restrictions exist, so you can still get what you need for an enjoyable travel experience. For instance, we work with Tiny Tots Away, which provides excellent service in European countries; and LotsForTotsMexico, which provides baby food and formula, among other things, a critically important service because Mexico does not allow travelers to bring in those items.
No matter where you are heading, we can help your trip through customs and beyond go more smoothly.
Here’s a sampling of some the restrictions you can expect to face:
Antiqua and Barbados – some restrictions on cosmetics and toiletries
Australia – milk restrictions, but powdered formula is okay
Bahamas – some restrictions on cosmetics and toiletries
Bermuda – some restrictions on cosmetics
China – no liquid formula or water
Costa Rica – some restrictions on cosmetics and toiletries
France – no food, formula or cosmetics
Germany – no food or formula
Greece – no food or formula
Grenada – some restrictions on cosmetics
Haiti – some restrictions on cosmetics and liquids
India – no liquid, no cereal
Ireland – no food or formula
Italy – no food or formula
Jamaica – some restrictions on cosmetics
Japan – permit needed for food and formula
Korea – no food or formula
Mexico – no food or formula, some limits on toiletries
New Zealand – no food or formula
United Kingdom – no food or formula
Viet Nam – some restrictions on cosmetics and toiletries
Some countries will allow food and formula with a doctor’s note and a permit from their department. These permits can be costly to obtain and as a result we prefer not to ship those items on your behalf, so we have listed them above as “no food or formula.”
This list is a guideline only and is not all-inclusive. If you are traveling to a specific country and have a question, please send us an e-mail at info@jetsetbabies.com.
